Carlos Araya Quintero

He is the CEO and Founding Partner of Brumas Venture Capital, a fund focused on AgriFoodTech innovation, and of AeroTerra AgroTechnology, a company specializing in drone-based agricultural spraying. He also serves as President of the Board at The Tropics Foundation, a U.S.-based nonprofit supporting sustainable agriculture in the region. Carlos advises institutions such as IICA on fundraising and financial mechanisms, and has held senior roles at CATIE, ICCO Cooperation, and EARTH University. He holds an MBA with a marketing focus, a specialization in fundraising from Indiana University, and is currently a PhD candidate in Economics and Entrepreneurial Sciences.

Cristian Zúñiga Cháves

He holds a master’s degree in project management, has earned an MBA, and holds a bachelor's degree in Marketing and Communication. He has worked in business modeling, negotiation, and fund management in the U.S., Mexico, Central America, Colombia, Peru, and Spain. He is a member of the Selection Committee of the Development Banking System (Costa Rica), a SICA scholarship recipient, and a university professor of marketing.
